Why a fee of $70 ?  

 I keep my massage therapy fee reasonable so people can utilize massage as part of their wellness plan rather than see it as a luxury to be enjoyed once in a while.

Massage prices vary quite a bit . In resorts, spas, franchises, and offices owned by others, a massage therapist receives a percentage of the fee and relies on tips to fill out their income. They also may be pressured to upsell product or service, or to enroll clients in memberships at franchises. 

I have a small practice, work independently, and set my fee to welcome people without them feeling like they have to break the bank. I have always had a steady clientele who treasure their massage time as an oasis and who are able to receive massage regularly because the fee fits in their budget.  I don't accept tips.  

INSURANCE And FLEX SPENDING ACCOUNTS

I don't do any billing for insurance.  I can give you a receipt and you can submit it. 

I called one company about Flex Spending. I was told you need a doctor's diagnosis and recommendation for massage. I would give you a receipt and you can submit it for reimbursement.

i don't have a card reader so I'd give you a paper receipt.  ( yes, I know.....)

  DESCRIPTION OF MY MASSAGE

My massage is a blend of a variety of techniques including Swedish, Shiatsu, Acupressure, and Reflexology.

I use Aromatherapy regularly, unless someone doesn't want it. 

I give a detailed facial and scalp massage as well as hands and feet.  There are a lot of pain receptors in the scalp, hands and feet, so massaging these areas soothes the entire body and makes the work on the back go more deeply because it's receptive after the other work has prepared it. 

Of course, the client may opt out of any of the above, or request that I spend more time on one area than another   

My aromatherapy collection includes Jasmine, Lavendar, Cedar, Camphor, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Pine Needle, Rose, and Ginger, and a special Heat Massage Oil by Dr. Christopher's Herb Shop.  Ooh La La
